Jason Wright Book Contest!

Can it really be true? Kevin Milne is hosting a giveaway for a book by Jason Wright? The Jason Wright? As in, the New York Times best selling author? The one who wrote Wednesday Letters, Recovering Charles, and who is literally changing lives with his Christmas novella, Christmas Jars. Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes! It's all true.

Jason is a heckuva guy, and has kindly agreed to send one of you a signed ARC (advance reader copy) of his newest book, The Cross Gardener, which hits bookstores on March 2, 2010. I had the pleasure of reading a .pdf copy of this book a number of months ago, and I promise it wont disappoint. It will tug at your heartstrings and cause you to reflect on what it means to live.  Glenn Beck has read The Cross Gardener too, and describes it as "Passionate, spiritual and thought-provoking."

So how can you win this fantastic book? Easy! Just reply to this blog and let me know that you'd like to be entered in the contest. If you have a favorite Jason Wright book and want to others know about it, feel free to share that in your comments too.The winner will be selected at random on February 9th. I'll post the winner's name here on the blog, so be sure to check back.

Good Luck!

My name is Elizabeth Dalton. I have read all of his books and my favorite is Wednesday Letters because it is set in my hometown of Woodstock, VA. I was born in Woodstock and attended the high school he mentions in the book. It's a quaint little town that you should visit if you get the chance. GO FALCONS!

OK, I'll admit it...I hadn't heard of Jason Wright until my good friend, Marylin, signed up for his FaceBook Fan Page. Wouldn't it be great to gain a faithful new reader of Mr. Wright's works by letting me be the winner of the book give-away contest?

Just sayin' ;)

Count me in. I bought my grandson and niece "Penny's Christmas Jar Miracle" and had Jason sign the books for them for their first Christmas. Every year we can read it so they will want to make this a tradition of putting money in the jar and handing them out during the Christmas season.

Sounds like a book that could lift my spirits. My Mother passed away Jan. 31st and it was a blessing. She has had Alhemizer's the past three years. Since Oct. has been hard as the Nursing Home and hospital have mistreated her. Some people cannot understand how it can be a blessing to not grieve for her homegoing. But she is no longer being tormented in mind by the enemy. I will miss her terribly but then I haven't been able to communicate with her much in the past three years. I have grieved already three years.
I am reeling with hurt from a Christian author on top of losing my Mom. So to lose my Mom and someone I counted a special friend at the same time and stress with snow and travel, has hit me hard.
I found Christians don't want to hear anything unless you are shouting from the roof tops.
I'm venting - is it okey? I'd love to review this book.

Wow! What an unselfish act and what a great way to share some wonderful stories! I guess I'm a little behind with my reading, because out of all the books mentioned, the only ones I read were Jason Wright's, "Christmas Jars" and Kevin A. Milne's, "The Paper Bag Christmas." (Love the new cover of "The Paper Bag Christmas" by the way.) I really enjoyed both of these books and can't wait to read the others by both authors.

Having just lost my beloved father on December 24 and my father-in-law on January 7, "The Cross Gardener" sounds like something that will help my family and me through this heart-breaking time in our lives. Thank you for the opportunity to enter this contest.
