A.E. Wright Middle School

I just wanted to take a moment to thank the 7th Grade Language Arts teachers at A.E. Wright Middle School, in Calabasas, California, for choosing The Paper Bag Christmas as their December reading project.  It's been wonderful to get so much positive feedback about the book, both from the teachers and the students. I'm told that their final assignment, following vacation, may include a note to me.  How nice!  Maybe some of them will even want to post their letters here....(hint, hint)...

Go Spartans!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

Dear Mr. Milne,

My name is Sean Louis. I am a 12 year old boy. I was astonished when I read your book in my language arts class. I thought it was going to be another boring book that would just waste my energy. But it wasn’t. It was probably one of the best books I ever read. Maybe they best book I ever read.

In your book it surprised me how really devastating cancer is, when Katrina took her paper bag off. I knew it was bad. But to destroy your face alone that is terrible. You enlighten me to how bad cancer is. My uncle had cancer while I was growing up but, I was never aloud to see him because I could have killed him if I had a cold.

But your book was great my favorite 2 parts were when molar and Katrina was doing the gurney races, and when Katrina toke her paper bag off. Because the whole book you wanted to see what she looked like. Also you gave so much detail I thought you were actually molar at times.

Your book really changed me. I take things more seriously and I am thankful to have a loving family. Because not many kids have one of those. It also taught me that even though getting presents is really what you do for Christmas its not it should be spending time with others and helping the needy.
Yours truly

Dear Mr. Milne,

My name is Erin Sullivan. I am a seventh-grade student at A.E. Wright Middle School. I am extremely honored to comment on your book, The Paper Bag Christmas. your book is very inspiring, it showed that it's better to give than to get and that one person can make a difference in your life.
there were many phrases and sections in your book that touched me. What I was inspired by most was how throughout the book, Molar never gave up on trying to make little grumpy Katrina happy again. Even though she didn't want him around for a while, all the effort paid off. Katrina gained confidence, encouragement, and a friend. what touched me most in this book, was how Katrina gave back to Molar the paper bag that she wore on her head for so long. I loved how every year, molar puts the bag on top of the angel on the Christmas tree. it shows that he truly cared for her.
your book has inspired me to become a better person. I am thankful that I get to celebrate christmas at home and that i am a healthy child.
The moral in your story is very true. That every person comes into your life for a reason, and that it's better to give than to get.

Sincerely,
Erin Sullivan

Dear Mr. Milne,

There is not enough paper in this world to elucidate how splendidly you have written The Paper Bag Christmas. My name is Vani and I am a seventh grader at A.E Wright Middle School. Your novel The Paper Bag Christmas opened the eyes of my fellow classmates and me. Such a fabulous message was portrayed when we finished reading The Paper Bag Christmas. Students at A.E Wright Middle School, such as me, truly realized what the real meaning of Christmas is. The Paper Bag Christmas educated me about how important holidays are. In fact, I would like to thank you for such a spectacular novel. Hopefully, you are planning on writing a few more interesting novels such as The Paper Bag Christmas.
We all know that The Paper Bag Christmas is a stupendous novel, however there are a few characteristics of the book that really appealed to me. For example, the thing that I was most impressed by was the emotional effect that occurred to several people. The Paper Bag Christmas depicts emotional feelings towards characters. Actually, I believe that some teachers were even crying due to how melancholy some sections of the book were. Another characteristic of the book that I thought was very interesting was the whole format of the story. Every event in the story went in such chronological order. From one event to another, everything seemed to be planned in a very well manner. The Paper Bag Christmas also demonstrates the spirit of giving to its readers as well as many other important messages.
Honestly, I do not celebrate Christmas or Hanukah. However, what holiday I celebrate does not matter, the spirit of giving is what matters. That message was to enjoy the holidays with your family members. Like I had said, there was more than one message shown in The Paper Bag Christmas. I also received the message of realizing that holidays are meant to be enjoyed through the warmth of family and not presents. I was very moved by what I think is the most important lesson, which is serving others. Your book very well portrayed serving others. Molar served others by volunteering along side Dr. Ringle at the Children‘s Hospital. Serving others is a very important message and I respect that fact that you included this message in your book.
Unlike other books that I have read, your book shows fabulous messages that teach the importance of family, love, and of course, serving others. I believe that your messages are very effective and have educated a whole bunch of my classmates. The Paper Bag Christmas is a prodigious book that has taught me about the true meaning of holidays. This book has left lasting memories for me. My only request to you is to continue writing books!

Sincerely,

Vani Bhardwaj

Dear Mr.Milne,
My name is Jenna Miller and I am a seventh grader at A. E. Wright Middle School. My language arts class just finished reading your book, The Paper Bag Christmas. It is a great book to read and perfect for the holidays. I'm so happy that our teacher chose this book for us to read.
There are alot of things I liked about The Paper Bag Christmas. After a while, Molar actually enjoyed going to the hospital to see Katrina. That was the part where I really started to understand the meaning of the book.
It showed me how to celebrate a real Christmas and what the holidays are really about. I also liked that it was very fun and entertaining to read.
I think your book is very important because it teaches people that the holidays are about spending time with your family and other people. That's a very important lesson. I think that the book also has changed me in that way and I'm glad it did.
Thank you for all your have taught me and never stop writting books!
Sincerely,
Jenna Miller

Dear Mr. Milne,
My name is Gabby and I really loved your book The Paper Bag Christmas. Out of all the books I read, this book was probably the most touching. When I started reading, all I wanted to do was read on and on.
One reason why I liked your book was because it helps me remember all the great things I have in life. Another reason why I liked your book was because it taught many lessons about friendship, love, and the true meaning of Christmas. In the story, I liked that Molar was a good friend to Katrina and that he kept on trying to do everything he could to make her happy. The story was very moving and made me want to help everyone in need.
I have changed a lot after reading your book. It helped me remember that Christmas wasn't about presents, it's about being giving and spending time with your family and friends. Although the story made me feel a little sad, it also made me glad that Katrina was with her family and that Madhu was going to live. Your book is very important because it can really teach people more about Christmas. Also, it helps people learn about helping others. After reading, I realized how important my family and friends are to me and I now want to help people in need and become a better person.
In your book, one of the things that caught my eye was that one of the characters in the epilogue was named Gabby like me! I really liked your book and all I wanted to do was keep reading. Even thought the story was a little sad, it is still great that Katrina is with her family and because of her, Madhu was able to live. Your book was really amazing which is why I give it a big thumbs up!

Dear Mr. Milne,

I really enjoyed reading your book, The Paper Bag Christmas. One thing i would like to know about your book is if it was based on your childhood. I told my mom about reading the book in class, and told her what it was about and what happened. My mom said that she thinks that it sounds like a very good book. So for christmas i am thinking of getting the book for my mom and my grandma.

I really liked your book. It was truly inspiring and heartwarming. It really touched me when Katrina died. This book showed the true meaning of Christmas. I really liked reading this book because I use to think Christmas was just about getting presents, but now I know that it's about happiness and family. I am very glad that I got the chance to read your book.

Dear Mr.Milne,

I liked The Paper Bag Christmas a lot. It was really good. You came up with a good story. I did not think it was a sad story, it was more on the happy side according to me. Thanks for writing this book because I am glad I read it. It was funny in a lot of parts. I really thought it was cool how Molar still thought Katrina was petty after he saw her face. How did you think of such a good story to write? It is important to read this book because, I learned that Christmas is not just about getting stuff. Thanks and keep writing books so I can read them.

The Paperbag Christmas was one of the best book I've ever read. It kept me in suspense and kept me wondering what's going to happen next. I was wondering what inspired you to right this book, because it seems like this could actually happen to someone.Like I said, I really liked this book, especially how the book was plotted and how it seemed it could happen to someone.

My class and I just finished reading your book, The Paper Bag Christmas, and I think that it was an amazing book! I think that it is a very important book for all ages to read because it really opens not only mine, but my whole class's eyes that Christmas isn't about presents and that it's about giving and being together. i was just wondering if Madhu really started to work in hospital, like you wrote in your book, if so I think that's really cool. So thank you for writing this book and giving me the real reason of Christmas.

Dear Mr. Milne,
[I would like to know why it is important for all ages to read the Paper Bag Christmas?] But I really liked the book. It was very sad about what happened to Katrina at the end. What I liked about the book was when Katrina revealed her face even though she was bald, had a swollen tissue on her face, and one side of her head had a dent in it. She was being very brave. If it was me, I don't think I would be able to show my face and everything in front of people. I am very glad we got to read the Paper Bag Christmas.

Dear Mr. Milne,
Your book The Paper Bag Christmas is amazing! It's one of the best books i have ever read. It is very inspiring and you made it so interesting, that I kept reading ahead of my classmates (shhhh...don't tell Mr. McCreary)! My favorite part was when Katrina wrote the letter to Madhu saying that he could have her kidney. I thought that was so sweet. I hope you keep on writing books, because I know that you will make them awesome. Congratulations on all of your books!

I was truly inspired by your book the Paper Bag Christmas. So inspired that I decided that me New Years Resolution was to give more than to receive. Although I may not have much to give. I have only a few questions for you. I've wondered of you think of Catrina often? Will you write another book on Christmas like the Paper Bag Christmas? Would this be the only reason for liking Christmas more than any other Holiday? Hope make more amazing books like this one.

Your story was truly amazing and inspiring. I am 12 years old, and I do not believe in Santa. I believe there was someone named Chris Kringle that gave gifts to children, but Chris Kringle is dead now, so there is no Santa. Your story was amazing. You are a great writer and believer. I wish I could have had that expierence, I do have one question to ask...how did you guys get married? Well, I hope you have a happy and joyful life and Christmas with your family.

Dear Mr. Milne,
First, I loved your book, Paper Bag Christmas, it was a very touching and inspiring book. It is important for others to read this book because this book shows you how to be caring to other children and not to spend your time doing nothing. The best part of the book was when Katrina took off her bag over her head in the Christmas pageant. That took a lot of courage to do that in front of a crowd of people. What gave you the idea of making this book? Do you like writing books about Christmas? I really enjoyed your book.

Dear Mr. Milne,
Hi my name is Sierra and I am a student at A.E. Wright. My class just finished reading your book The Paper Bag Christmas. I loved your book and thought it was well written and written and easy to relate to.
I think that it really shows you the true meaning of Christmas and joy. My best friend's Grandmother had just recently died of cancer. Even though we know she is in a happier place now, it's still hard to let go of someone you love.
Some times I wish that Santa wasn't as popular as he is because he takes so much away from the true meaning of Christmas. Now everything is about presents and getting someone the best gift and I think it's sad,
Your book really hit the mark and I think that all people deserve to get "everything they've never wanted" for Christmas at least once in their life.

Thank you so much for the amazing book,

Sierra B.

Dear Mr. Milne,
I loved your novel, The Paperbag Christmas, and the message it portrayed. Every time we finished reading a chapter in class I would peek at the next page, eager for more. This was one of the best books that I have ever read. I am thankful for what I have, but this story really made me realize how lucky I am to be surrounded by people I love, and that I shouldn't take them for granted because one day they might not be there.
I loved every single part of The Paperbag Christmas, but my favorite part was when Dr. Ringle delivered Katrina's gifts to Madhu and the janitor. When Madhu and the janitor received their gifts, I was overjoyed. I was so excited that Madhu was able to go home to his family because Katrina gave him her liver. The epilouge of The Paperbag Christmas was very clever. I chuckled to myself as I read, "As with many Christmas stories, mine began on Santa's lap. But this was no ordinary Santa, and he had anything but an ordinary lap."
What inspired you to write this story? Did this happen to you? If so, did our children enjoy the experience at the hospital as much as you did? The Paperbag Christmas was truly an amazing, heartwarming novel that opened my eyes.

Sincerely,
Erica Neighbors

I read The Paper Bag Christmas and it was an amazing book. Coming from a girl (like me) who doesn't like reading that much it was an awesome book. Are there any other books that you write, because if there are I would love to read them. What was your favorite part of the book? My favorite part was when Katrina gave Madhu her liver so he could go home. This book was very touching to me and everyone in the class. Why was it important for people of all ages to read this book? I think the meaning of this book is to tell everyone that you don't need gifts to make you happy on Christmas. All you need is love and you'll be happy. Thank you for writing this book and hopefully you will write me back!

Dear Mr. Milne,

I just recently finished "The Paper Bag Christmas" and thought it was very inspirational to better than I am now. I really loved your story and wanted to ask you a few questions. What made you want to write a Christmas story? I also loved how vivid you made everything seem. I felt like I was really there! I also loved all the idioms you hid in the book, such as "Christmas spirit is silent."
The thing I loved most abut your book was that you really pushed the importance of true Christmas spirit. I think it's important for children of all ages to stress the importance of friendship because some day it might be gone. You also stressed the importance of acceptance of others. I hope you get this letter soon,

I think this book was important because it makes you appreciate what you have now and not what you don't have. The best part of the book is at the end when Katrina gives her liver to Maduhu, who now takes Dr. Ringles position as being the one to be the doctor and act as Santa Clause.
In the end this book was a marvelous novel.

I just finished your book. It was so good, especially when you read it right before Christmas.I loved the part when Mo wanted to get Katrina in the pageant so he did the gurney races. I also liked how Timothy and Mo went to go look for clues about Dr. Ringle being Santa. I also thought it was very touching for Katrina to give her liver to Madhu. It was very good when Madhu came to Nurse Wimble and asked to be a wise man and proved there could be four; so very thoughtful on his part. Did you actually do all this in the book or did you add anything to make it dramatic, and if so, what? I really did enjoy The Paperbag Christmas. Mr. Milne, good job!

"The Paper Bag Christmas is one of my top favorite books that I have ever read! For this book I have one question I want to ask you; what influenced you to wright this book? I think this book is good for everyone to read because it contains the real meaning of Christmas.
In this book you can feel the love shared with every character in the story. My favorite scene, and probably the saddest scene in the book, is when Katrina gives Molar the crumpled ball of read paper that says that she wants for Christmas. I also like when Molar keeps her neatly folded paper bag all the till his adulthood. Near the end I was sad when Katrina died and all she wanted for Christmas was a friend. Thank you for taking your time to read this letter. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Rodger C.

The importance of this book is that it shows what Christmas is about. Its shows that you don't need material items to be happy, and helping people is also important.
I'm happy that this book was made because some people wouldn't know what Christmas is about.

I thought your book was great, and I really learned something. The message I got from your book is that you don't need presents to feel the true joy of Christmas. My favorite character was Madhu because I thought he was funny and, even thought he was sick in the hospital he could have fun and enjoy life.
I have a few questions fr you. what inspired to write the paper bag Christmas? Why did you choose this memory instead of another one? Did this story really happen to you? If so, do you still have the paper bag and the Christmas list? Thank you for writing this book because I really learned something from your writing. Hope you have a good new year!

I only have to Questions for you. What did Katrina put on Christmas list? Did the gurney races have a big effect on the patients at the hospital? My favorite part was the gurney races because I thought it was cool that the kids found a way to have fun in the hospital. Good luck on your next book.

Hi my name is Talia and i go to A E Wright Middle School. I am so glad that i was able to read your book The Paper Bag Christmas it was an amazing book! This book showed me the real meaning of the holidays, that everything isn't only about present and receiving. It also showed me that spending time with people that love you is a privilege and that not everyone has people that do. When you described how Katrina and the other kids diseases looked like i couldn't bare but cry. I couldn't believe that some kids even my age have to deal with those kinds of things. What inspired you to write this book? How long did it take you to write? Was this all a real experience? Are you and Lynn really married? Is Madhu really the doctor now? I know understand how truly grateful I am. I can't wait to see what other books you have! I look forward to your response.

Hi, my name is Nina and I go to A.E.Wright Middle School in Calabasas, CA. I had recently read your book, The Paper Bag Christmas and it was truly one of the greatest book I have ever read. The book had touched my heart and I just couldn't put it down. From the part they got into the hospital until the very end.
Reading your book has really taught what some kids my age are going through and that all they wish for is a cure and just to get better. I actually understood Christmas and all it's about, not about the gifts or presents, but just to be happy and to be grateful every second of your life. Now since I have experienced reading your book, Christmas was much different this year. I didn't really care what was under the Christmas tree but just to acknowledge the true meaning of Christmas and having people around you that love you. I have some questions before I finish; what inspired you to write this book? Is this a true story? Were you one of the characters in the book? Well all I wanted to say was thank you for letting me see Christmas in a whole different perspective!

Dear Mr.Milne,
Your book,The Paper Bag Christmas,is very touching. It relates to me because my cousin that I was very close with has recently died. She was my only cousin that was close to my age(12). She lost all her hair and had lots of bumps, bruises, and stitches all over her. She died over Thanksgiving break. It was very sad when she died, but at the same time I was very happy for her. She was suffering a lot,she needed to go to a happier place were god would stop the pain. I miss her a lot and I would think that Molar would miss Katrina. I think that younger kids should read this book. Little kids would get the message your are trying to tell readers. They would understand that presents aren't all about Christmas. You should be happy that you have a family to send Christmas with. Some kids (Katrina) have deathly sicknesses Thank you for giving me the message, it meant a lot.

Dear Mr. Milne,

Hello Mr. Milne, my name is Helen and I go to A.E.Wright Middle School. My class read your book, The Paperbag Christmas and I love it. I have many comments on the book.

I do have a question for you. Why didn't you make a sequel that told Mo's children's story? That could have been pretty interesting, you know, a story that keeps repeating itself for generations. Except this it'd be with different patients and Dr. Ringle and possibly Dr. Amburi. This bookis important to all ages because it teaches you that pricey presents aren't the true meaning of Christmas, but that friendship and love are the true meaning of Christmas, as Mo, Katrina, and Madhu taught me. Though what I like best about the book was Madhukar Amburi. Why? For his fast talking, persistent, and cheerful personality. In addition, his comical ways. My runner-up would be my love for the mystery of Dr. Ringle being Santa Claus. The letters from all the children around the world labeled to the North Pole was the most suspenseful and peculiar clue besides the 'Reindeer Poop', of course. I believe that DR, Ringle is Santa because with all the clues how could you not believe? Plus, how can Dr. Ringle, be a Dr., magically disappear? But, I did not like how Madhu had to argue for the right to act as the fourth 'Wise Man'. It was really interesting how a child with liver problems fighting for his life had to argue and be judged just to get the part he wanted in a hospital play.I also found katrina really interesting and brave because she, in front of a crowd of people, took off a bag she had been using to cover her face for so long. Also, because she was willing to compete in a gurney race.

Sincerely,
Helen

My name is Vinura K. and I attend A.E. Wright Middle School. The book you wrote, The Paper Bag Christmas, was a book I had very much enjoyed, It was a memorable book that shows what the true Christmas is about sharing and caring. At the end of the book I had felt sad that Katrina had died from the tumor. But what I had adored the most was what she did to two other people that also needed a lot of help, Frank an Madhu. Excluding the death of Katrina that had made me feel happy because Madhu went to celebrate New Year's Day with his family and Frank's brother had a large trust fund. I thin you are the most amazing author for holiday books like this, and I am looking forward to reading The Sweet Misfortune and Final Note. Happy Holidays!

How long did it take you to finish the book? I like how at the end Mo and Lynn got married. Where did you get the inspiration to write the book? The book was very touching and meaningful. Hello, my name is Dan and I am a student at A.E.Wright Middle school. I just finished reading your first book, The Paper Bag Christmas. It truly showed the true meaning of Christmas, it was a real inspirational story. That experience at such a young age must of been very difficult for you. I wonder how were you able to handle all the emotions so well. You and your brothers work really helped make the hospital and the world a better place. Everyone at A.E.Wright loved your book and it showed the true meaning of Christmas.
Sincerly,
Dan

Dear Mr. Milne,
I am a student at A.E.Wright Middle school. I have just read the Paper Bag Christmas in Mr. McCreary's class. That book was very touching. It made me cry. I wish everyone would think about that story and take action and make someone's Christmas special. I have a few questions: What made you write this novel? Is this a true story? Were you part of this story? Do you think that a lot of the people cried at the epilogue? I have many more questions, but I have to know that answer to these questions first. So I hope you can answer my questions.

Your curious reader,
Ivianna

Dear Mr. Milne,
I greatly enjoyed reading your book, The Paper Bag Christmas. It was amazing how Molar's perspective changed about everything he never wanted. Also it was so sad that Katrina died on Christmas, but I'm glad she got what she wanted for Christmas. Afew questions I have for you are how did Madhu's surgery go and did Timothy get what he wanted for Christmas? Also, was Dr. Ringle really Santa Clause and how did he lose his legs? It was so much fun reading Paper Bag Christmas and it taught me alt about Christmas. Thank you so much!

Yours Truly,

Dear Mr.Milne,

Hi! My name is Kiana. I never understood the true meaning of Christmas until I read your book. I always heard Christmas was about giving, but the way Molar gave Katrina the gift of friendship was the best gift you could give to someone feeling lonely.

I always wanted to help kids the way Molar helped Katrina, and I will someday. I have two questions to ask you. Fist, how was it writing such a insperational book? And my second question I will ask, is Molar and Katrina real? I think my teacher said that they were real, but I just want to be positive.

I have more questions, but they would be for Molar and Katrina. To see how they felt about those times.

I loved your book, when I was reading your last pages I was having mixed feelings, sad and happy. But when I finished your book I was crying in my heart, while my eyes smiled. And my mouth was simply speechless. Thank you for reading my letter, I learned a lot from your book and I can't wait to read more of your books! :)

sicerely,
kiana N.

Dear Mr. Milne,

Hi I am a student at AEW middle school, and I thought that the book "the Paper Bag Christmas" was very well written. My favorite character was mo because he was very helpful, and nice. The chapter with the gurney race is my favorite part of the book. My question for the book is if you knew the people in the book, and exactly what happened? that would be interesting to hear the gurney race actually happened or if it didn't. It would be great to know any way. any way the book was great ind I had fun reading it.

sincerely,

Dear Alan Milne,
I'm not trying to offend you, but I thought the beginning of The Paper Bag Christmas was a little too slow for me, but overall it was a good book. I think the ending was very sad though. I didn't really understand why Katrina didn't really like Mo at first. I thought it was very sweet of Katrina to become a donor after she died because her death made it so someone else could live. I'm very interested about how you get the ideas for your books. Do they just pop into your head or do you have to try to find inspiration in the world? I would also like to know how someone could become a published author. Do you write the story and then send it to different publishers? Once a publisher has decided to publish your book, do they make a lot of changes or do they just print your original book? How did your book end up being picked to be read by the whole seventh grade? Is that something that the publishers promote, did the school district find it and ask if they could use as a mandatory reading book, or was it written with students reading it in mind? Do you have any children because you wrote a story read mainly by middle school aged kids? Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
Sincerely,
Tanner

Dear Mr. Milne,

Hi, my name is Emma and I go to A.E.Wright Middle School in Calabasas, CA. I recently read your book, The Paper Bag Christmas. I cannot tell you how much your book inspired me think about how lucky I am to have a family to celebrate the holidays with and not be sick with cancer or some other horrifying disease. It also made me think about how lucky I am that I even get to have a big Christmas breakfast with my whole family.

Well, before I conclude my letter, I have a few questions for you; Was your book, The Paper Bag Christmas, based on a true story? If so, how did you hear about it and want to make it a book? Was anything you wrote in the book based on your real life personal experiences? Do you relate to Molar?

Thank you so much for taking your time to read my letter.

Your book is filled with many emotions. I don't like reading very much, but The Paper Bag Christmas is very interesting. I really enjoyed the book. I think a sequel would be great. My favorite scene would have to be when Katrina and Molar do the gurney race just to get her to do the Christmas Pageant. Also how Molar was concerned more about Katrina than himself, when they crashed. Over all I thing the Paper bag Christmas was one of the best books I've ever read.

Dear Mr.Milne,
My name is Ella Stockfish, I am a seventh grader at A.E.Wright Middle School. The Paper Bag Christmas is an amazing book. It truly touched me and taught me so much. It taught me to always be thankful and to appreciate everything I have and my parents, family, friends, and everyone else who helps me through my journey through life. I even started volunteering at children hospitals and other organizations. My favorite part of your book was when Katrina took of her bag in front of everybody and placed next to baby Jesus. I thought that was very brave of her. I have a couple questions though. Mr.McCreary told us this was a true story so what made you choose this experiance in your life to write a book about? How did it come to be that you married Lynn, the girl who stood up for Katrina? How did you feel when you were writing the story? Anyways, you should be very proud,Mr.Milne. Its a wonderful book and it really inspired me. It also became one of my favorite books. I hope to see another great book from you soon.

I am a 12 year old student at A.E. Wright middle school. I like my school a lot. Its a great school. Unfortunately,I don't like reading very much, but The Paper Bag Christmas was great. It was a sad, funny, and heart-warming story. It was so great i convinced my mom to read it! Surprisingly my favorite part is when you and Katrina are gurney racing, not the part where you get hurt. I just like the fact that Katrina would actually think of doing that. I mean, she was in a bad condition and she chose a dangerous thing to do. Also, I am sorry you had to go through so much at such a young age. Luckily, It all ended up well. Was Katrina's paper bag the best gift you ever gotten? If not, what is the best gift? Anyways I hope you had a great Christmas and have a happy new year!

My name is Megan and I go to A.E. Wright Middle School. I love to ride horses, play the flute, and read.
I loved your book so much. It was so inspiring. You have touched many people. Christmas is an amazing holiday because, well my family has a very strong religion, and it really means a lot to us. Is it true that you really married the girl who stood up for Katrina? Is this whole story really true? So you are Mo? Another question I have is what inspired you to write this book?
My grandma works for a non-prophet organization that deals with cancer patients and their families. My grandma runs groups that lets cancer patients get together and talk about how they feel, what they do to stay healthy and many other things. I have met a lot of cancer patients and seen what they go through from this organization. It just makes me more thankful that I am so healthy.Even though people still die from cancer I think many of them are very thankful that they have so much. Just like Katrina got you as a friend. I will tell many people about your book because it was so good. It is great that you wrote a book to tell people about your friend. I bet she is smiling down at yo and saying thank you for telling her story.

Sincerely,
Megan

Dear Mr. Milne,
My name is Emmett Carnahan and I attend A.E Wright Middle School on Calabasas, California. I'm in Mr. Mcreacy's 7th grade English class and was amazed by your book,The Paper Bag Christmas. Your story was very sad but heartwarming, and a great novel. My favorite character was Katrina. It was sad to here her go, but nice to know that she provided gifts to all the people around her who needed help. Helping both Frank and Madhu with their conditions, she also moved Moe when she gave him the gift of a paper bag and her christmas list, which said that what she wanted was a friend.
As touching as these scenes were, my favorite would have to be the one where Madhu announces his gift at the Christmas pageant. He gives the whole speech about how he is Indian and doesn't know much of the christian religion, but he gives a gift far beyond a toy that could make a child smile. The gift he gives is the gift to love one another, and I think that is the most powerful gift of all. This scene meant a lot to me because the message that Madhu brings is a one that we should think about more everyday. I also found it interesting that someone from another culture had to remind us of these non-woldly gifts that mean so much. The Paper Bag Christmas is a great and memorable book and I hope you keep writing.

Yours truly,

Emmett Carnahan

Dear Mr. Milne,
I really liked "The Paper Bag".It's the best book Ive ever read!Is it a true story about you? It got me so sad at the end. Are you a Cristian? I am.I really enjoyed the book. At first I thought that Mo was going to "fall in love" with Katrina, but it wasn't like that. What I really liked was the part where Madhu is asking about baby Jesus,Santa, and the three wise men. What really got me thinking was what Madhu said in the Christmas pageant about loving one another. Eventhough we mostly judge people for how they look,we should really try to be nice to one another, like the "golden rule". Treat others the way you want to be treated. Did the Santa Clause disappearing thing at the end really happen?Christmas is my favorite Holiday. We decorate the house, eat plenty of food and spend time with friends and family. The book really got me in the Christmas spirit. Thanks for writing such a beautiful book!:)

It was sad, yet happy at the end when Katrina passed away, but happy because she helped out the janitor and Madhu. Did you write any more books? If so, write down the titles, I would love to read them. I don't like to read that much, but your book really got my attention. Are you going to write any more books? Well, if you are I think you should write a sequel to Paper Bag Christmas. I like how you use lots of description and detail keep it up, but if you write a sequel don't forget to mention me in the dedication :)

Dear Kevin Alan Milne,

Hello, my name is Sam Sayabalian. I was very inspired when I read your book Paper Bag Christmas. That book taught me the true meaning of Christmas and and that is better to give than receive. It touched my heart when I was reading about all the nice things you did to Katrina including helping her get a part at the play or giving her self esteem back when she was shy. At first you may have thought all that was bogus, including dressing up as an elf and helping Santa at the children's hospital. Then you learn that you can really make a difference in people's lives with just some Christmas spirit. As a student, I think it was very kind of you to help Dr. Ringle and volunteer as an elf. It was quite humorous when yo dropped the candy cane as you were giving it to Katrina. Then you were at the store trying to find he biggest candy cane and how you were so careful not to drop it. I will also give credit to our wife Lynn, after she stood up for Katrina when she wasn't given a part at the pageant. Tat was a very brave move by her. As far as I'm brave move to her. As far as I'm concerned, the pageant was great! Especially the part with "4" wise men. It was pretty clear that it wasn't just any play the children made it original and everyone was happy. I enjoyd the part in the part in the book when you were with Timothy trying to find out if Dr. Ringle was actually Santa when Katrina went to a better place. I think at the end everyone can learn something about sacrifice and love. It's people like you, Kevin, that make the world a better place

Dear Mr.Milne,

Hi, my name is Brooke from A.E. Wright middle school. When I heard we were going to read the Paper Bag Christmas, I was very excited. I love to read and i had never heard of The Paper Bag Christmas before. Before reading we researched and studied a little bit about you, your books, and your hobbies. Then we started reading.

The first thing I noticed and enjoyed about your book was that there were quotes before each chapter. This is really intriguing because it gives you a hint of what might happen and really makes you think. I also enjoy books with a meaningful title that you decode as you read. The way some of the characters had accents made made your book fun to read. I like the part when Molar tries to figure out that Dr.Ringle is Santa. As I read that Dr.Ringle had no legs and still worked at the hospital, it reminded me of some friends and family that were cancer patients.

I also have a few questions about The Paper Bag Christmas. First, What inspired you to write this book? Was there a really important event in your life? Why did you choose the title you did? I love it ,but was it hard to come up with?

Christmas is one of my favorite holidays because it makes me feel happy. This story however had many parts that were sorrowful. I would finish a chapter and keep reading on because I was dying to find out what would happen next.

How does Christmas make you feel? My favorite Christmas memory is going to our annual family party. We play games eat a lot and have fun. There is about 60 aunties, uncles, and cousins. This year my dad was the Santa Claus. The hat and belt were missing so he made up a story about Santa getting stuck in a storm. This reminded me of The Paper Bag Christmas so much. When Molar went to visit Santa at the mall, it reminded me of when I was little and was scared of Santa. it was funny. I enjoyed reading your book because of all these things. I laughed a lot and cried a little. It touched my heart and was very creative. i hope to read more of your stories in the future.

Sincerely,Brooke

Dear Mr. Kevin A. Milne,

Hello Mr. Milne, my name is Carolyn Y. from A.E. Wright Middle School. I am in 7th grade, and 7th graders from our school were reading your wonderful book. The Paper Bag Christmas. It was a meaningful book that taught us about the beautiful Christmas spirit.
My favorite scene of this book was when Molar was gurney racing with Katrina, I was impressed on Molar when he accepted the gurney race to make Katrina be in the Christmas pageant. After the race, Molar was worried more about Katrina than his broken arm. Molar is a responsible and nice friend of Katrina. If I was Molar, I would go visit Katrina and say, "Is it that hard to be in the Christmas pageant? Look what you did to my arm!" When I was reading this chapter, I wanted Molar to be my friend too.
My next favorite scene of the book was when Madhu was arguing with Nurse Wimble. It was funny how Madhu was kept telling her that there could be more wise men than three. I wanted to see Nurse Wimble's angry face. I was also surprised by the way how Madhu talked. He had a skill that made people follw the way he said; but in a good way. 'Madhu could be my role-model,' I thought.
the scene that taught me a lot of lessons was at the Christmas pageant. Madhu's present for baby Jesus was love. It was a most meaningful present. Madhu was a character who taught us a meaning of the Christmas. Katrina also putted her paper bag down beside baby Jesus. 'What is Katrina doing,' I thought. Katrina showed her face to everyone at the pageant. Then I realized that Katrina was giving herself to Jesus
as her gift. I was happy that her Christmas spirit was back.
Dr. Ringle was mt favorite character in this book. He was a nice man who made me think of my grandfather. His warm eyes imagined me of a hot chocolate. Dr. Ringle is a man full of Christmas spirit, and that is probably why I like him the most. He is the one who taught everyone that Christmas is not just about giving or getting the presents but love. It was also very interesting Dr. Ringle acted like Santa Clause during winter.
What I liked about this book was that all the characters gave readers about the Christmas message. Madhu gave us the meaning of Christmas, Katrina told us the real meaning of friend, Dr. Ringle lead us to give a message, and Mo and Aaron showed us how to get our Christmas spirit back. These characters helped me to get interest in your book.
Mr. Milne, thank you so much for writing such a great book! I told my sister and my cousins about the story and how we should love each other at Christmas. They said it is a wonderful story and they think they want to read the Paper Bag Christmas too. The Paper Bag Christmas is the most wonderful book I have ever read. It was an honor to read the book written by you with my classmate (and the whole 7th graders from my school).

Sincerely,
Carolyn Y.

Dear Mr. Milne,
Yes I do believe that an attractive couple will have mostly daughters:). My 7th grade class did a search on your webpage and we got to learn more about you and your books. The Paper Bag Christmas was truly a marvelous book which I enjoyed. I liked it so much that I'm looking forward to reading another one of your stories. Which of your books do you cherish the most? What does it mean to you? I'm really anxious to know your answer.
Anyways, back to the topic: The Paper Bag Christmas. This is the true meaning of christmas, love. In the story it explained (or should i say Madhu explained) that love and acceptance from friends are the best gifts you can receive. Mo and Aaron sure learned a valueable lesson about Christmas, about life! The most touching part for me was when Katrina gave Mo the paper bag, that made my eyes misty. This book was not just interesting, but made me more grateful for everything I have and for being healthy. I thank you for reading this and wish you best of luck!

Sincerely,
Aubrey Glennemeier

Dear Mr. Milne,
I really enjoyed your book, The Paper Bag Christmas. It really shows the importance of Christmas because Christmas isn't just about toys and clothes. Christmas is about giving and spending time with family and friends.
My favorite part in The Paper Bag Christmas was when Molar visited Katrina in the hospital before she passed away. It really shows how much Molar cared about Katrina. Molar seems like he would be an excellent friend, because he really loves the people he cares about.

My name is Kiana. I go to AE Wright Middle School and I'm in 7th grae. Our class just read your book, The Paper Bag Christmas. It wastruly an amazing book and one of the best books I've read in class. I really like how you put quotes because it made me want to keep reading to see how the quote fits in with the story. Its a very heartwarming book and I loved how it all connected at the end like how Katrina gave her liver to Madhu. I've notice that what people around us take for granted, for other kids it would mean the world to them. I learned that we are all lucky to be healthy and happy because, unfortuantely there are people in the world that dont have what we have. Usually, books with big morals are usually dull and boring, but this book taught me what Christmas is really about. The whole book was really touching, and I'm looking forward to start reading some of your other books.

My name is Angela, and I am a student at A.E.Wright Middle School. We just read your book, "The Paper Bag Christmas". I enjoyed it, but wondered why everyone always pictures Christmas as a sad holiday. It really isn't. It's a fun holiday where you get to be with your friends and family, and have a Christmas tree. (it makes the house smell so fresh!) My family usually hosts a cookie exchange at around this time. In the holidays, we are off school, so there's finally time to sleep in, play games, and play with my doggy! Anyway, I found "The Paper Bag Christmas" to be a sad story. I prefer to read happy things that are uplifting, or have a lot of adventure. I feel bad for the fact that Katrina died, but good knowing that she got her Christmas wish. She wanted a friend for Christmas, and she got one: Molar.

After reading your book, I have really changed. I would really like to help out now. I'm not sure how,but I will soon figure that out. The Paperbag Christmas also taught me what the true spirit of Christmas is; to appreciate everything you have, your family and your friends and your health. Thank you so much Mr. Milne for writing this life changing book, I learned many new things.

Dear Mr.Milne,
Merry Christmas! I so excited for Christmas and this book really got me in the spirit of the holidays. Before I read this book, I used to think Christmas was mostly about great gifts, but after i read it i understood the real meaning of the holidays. Christmas is about spending time with your friends and family and thinking about other people. In the Paper Bag Christmas the character that inspired me the most was Madhu. I listened to Madhu because every word that he said came to me as knowledge. Even though he had a horrible sickness, he would brighten up peoples day.
Madhu taught me lots of things, like to be yourself and to love the people around you. I am so happy that Madhu left the hospital. But then to find that he comes back to the hospital, but not with a sickness, but more love and knowledge to teach sick kids as a doctor. Madhu may be fictional but I will never forget his wisdom.
Last but not least I have a question for you. How did you come up with the idea for the character Madhu? Thank you for writing this book, and help me understand the true meaning of Christmas.
Sincerely,
Hannah

Dear Mr. Milne,
I thought your book was amazing and it makes me want to give more to the less fortunate! I have one main question, but many little ones too. My main question is by the end of your experience did you fully understand the true meaning of Christmas? Are you still very close to Madhu and do you both completely remember why you helped Katrina through her rough time? Finally, do your kids now know the real meaning of Christmas? My favorite part of your book was when Mo opened his Christmas present. That was my favorite part because it meant the world to him that Katrina was included in it. I mean after all they did become great friends. Katrina was my favorite character because she showed everyone that looks are not nearly as important than who you truly are inside. Not only did she show everyone else, but she also showed herself that looks aren't everything. That really spoke to me because it is very important that kids know that you should never judge a book by its cover. Mo was a true friend to her and I think she really did appreciate him. I thought that your book showed what the true meaning of Christmas was and that is what I think you were going for. So congratulations!

Sincerely,
Makayla

Hi, my name is Taliya. I am a student here at A.E Wright Middle School. I really enjoyed your book A Paperbag Christmas. One of the reasons why is because my cousin is a three time cancer survivor, so in a way I could sort of connect to the book. I have a couple of questions for you. for example, what do you think Christmas really means? also are you going to make a sequel of A Paperbag Christmas? Another thing that i would like to say is that I thought your plot line was just amazing! That was because I felt as though I could not stop reading. Sometimes I really wanted to read ahead, but most of the time I could not because we had to leave class. Honestly, coming from a student, your book was great. It kept me on my toes, and I didnt know what was coming next. Last, the characters were put together in an outstanding way. someone like angry nurse Wimble should just take a chill pill! Then there was molar, who I thought was the kindest person ever. there were too many amazing characters. Those were just a some of the people in the book I liked. Thank you for taking your time to read my comment.

Sincerely,
Your reader

Dear Mr. Milne,

I enjoyed reading your book, though at some points it was very sad. One of my friends has a rare cancer and the book's similarities brought out some emotions in me. I liked the realism and the epilogue. It is important for kids my age to read this book because it tells them that not everyone's life can be as good as theirs. Also, it tells them that some kids that are just like them, but can be so different because of family or disease. In the story, you never mentioned anything about Katrina after she died, like if she had a funeral or if anyone would come to it. Two of the characters I liked were Dr. Ringle because he had a Scottish accent, and Madhu because he was Indian. I shall always remember this book and how blessed I am because of it.

Does Madhu have kids, if so how many? How come you decided to talk about this experience? Finally, are you going to respond to my letter?

Dear Mr. Milne,

Your book, "The Paper Bag Christmas" is very emotional and inspiring. It also makes people realize how lucky they are to be able to live a full life and helps them think about how selfish they are. Basically, they learn how to remove themselves from the equation. I love this book because of how this could actually happen in reality. Katrina had to go through the pain of accepting death and it's sad that many kids like her have to go through that.

Not many writers bring attention to people who have cancer, so we don't realize how bad it really is. We almost never stop to think about the people in agony because we are so selfish. Stuck in the pointless drama of our own live, we don't think of anyone but ourselves. Thank you for writing this book so people might notice someone another persons life.

Sincerely,

Adriana C.

I'm writing this letter to you because I wanted to tell you that your book really inspired me.I loved the idea of the story and I learned a lot from the character's lessons.I go to A E Wright middle School and the whole Seventh grade read you Paper Bag Christmas and we all loved it.If I were to pick my two favorite characters, I would choose Madhu and Molar.I like Madhu's character because he seems very friendly, he is also very creative.I also like Molar's character because even though Katrina was different and not so friendly at first molar gave her a chance to be nice.I also have a couple of questions for you.How did you feel when you were writing the Paper Bag Christmas? and another is what did you think when Lynn said she would drop out of the pageant if Kristina didn't get to play a part? overall your book was fantastic and I hope I have a chance to read more books of yours.

Sicerely,
Or

Dear Mr. Milne,
I believe your book the Paper Bag Christmas, portrays a fine example of the true meaning of Christmas. If every boy and girl of my generation could read your book and understand the story, then people may understand that Christmas is not about objects we forget about in one week, but a feeling that would last for years to come. This feeling may be friendship or a simple, "Merry Christmas" that could make someone's day go from bad to merry. Imagine changing someones attitude with mere words, or a phrase.

Your Reader,

Vincent T.P.

Dear Mr.Milne
I loved your book! You inspired me to write my own personal narrative.I have so many questions to ask you.Did you ever wonder what Katrina looked like under that big paper bag? Was Katrina the best friend you've ever had? When you tell people this story? Do they believe that it was a real life situation? Do you still remember what Katrina looked like, or do you have a picture to remember her and the memories?People probably use to make fun of you since you hung out with a girl like Katrina, but I think that it was a good thing. I think that it was the best going a girl could have. Do you still keep in touch with Mudhu or Timothy? Mudhu seemed like a very friendly person the way you described him,and Timothy looked like he had a common interest with you. My favorite part of your book was when you thought Dr.Ringle was Santa! It was so funny and made me laugh a lot. I think that it is important that people understand that Christmas is not about toys and presents, but is not about giving, being with people you love. All ages can read the book because I think it applies to everyone because whatever age you are it applies you everyone. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Holly O.

Dear Mr.Milne,
My class and I just read the book Paper Bag Christmas and I really liked it. I have some questions I would like to ask you. First, is this a true story and inspired you you write about it? I think it is important to read this book so you understand the true meaning of Christmas. I really like this book because it shows how you should be kind and generous and that the best gift comes from the heart. My favorite part of the book was when the Christmas pageant was going on. Also, I really liked when Lynn stood up for Katrina. Another question I have for you is what its like to be an author? Is it hard and does it require lots of patience, or is it easy and do ideas just pop into your head? Is it fun to be an author and to make books and know that people are enjoying them? I really love to read and I really enjoy good books, like Paper Bag Christmas. Do you like reading? Did you always want to be an author or did it just happen? Thank you for making such a wonderful book

Sincerely,
Mateen

Dear Kevin Alan Milne,
Hello Mr. Milne my name is Everett and I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed The Paper Bag Christmas. I go to A.E.Wright middle school and we were assigned to read your book. I knew from previous experience reading class books it would be great. Also, I was happy it was a Christmas book(me being a Christmas person.)
By the end of chapter 2 I had a liking for it, and longed to read the next today. It was a very great book with likeable characters, my favorite being Madhu because of how clever he is. This is almost more than a novel in itself. The Paper Bag Christmas is actually true Christmas spirit in writing, It's simply a great novel that teaches that Christmas isn't about toys or Air Jammer Road Rammer's, it's about friendship, love, and memories. Thank you for this excellent tale.
Sincerely,
Everett

Dear Mr.Milne,
My name is Alexis ,I have a few questions about your book The Paper Bag Christmas, but before I ask the questions I just wanted to say that your book really opened my eyes to the true meaning of Christmas.
I used to ask myself every year around Christmas time... "Why do I celebrate x-mas, if I don't really celebrate x-mas." which means why do I celebrate it if I only receive gifts instead of giving them and asking for nothing in return.
Around Christmas time all I do is bake cookies, decorate a tree, and receive gifts when its really about celebrating the birth of Jesus.
Christmas is about many things such as:
*The day Jesus was born!!
*Giving back to others!!
*Family!!
*Living life to the fullest!!
*Love
Now to the questions...

1. Why did you decide to marry Lynn.
Was it because of her bravery when she stood up for Katrina or did you like her for who she was????

2. Was letting go of Katrina hard????

3. What is the meaning of Christmas to you????

Thank you for taking your time to read this letter.

Sincerely,
Alexis P

Dear Mr. Milne,
First of all I want to say hello, because I should always start with that. Just because I am a "good person" and all.(by the way I'm joking about that.) Back to reality I loved the "Paper Bag Christmas". It had all the aspects that made it a perfect book, for instance laughing.crying, smiling, and don't forget biting my nails at the nervous parts I now understand the saying "Merry Christmas" isn't what it's cracked up to be.There is so much that changed my perspective on Christmas. Having all I learned, I just would like to say thank you for what you have taught me. If I didn't earn anything I would be writing My christmas List for my parents not caring for anybody else. Instead I'm focusing on what's really important and what really matters.

Now I'm moving on to the questions about the book. First, why did you put that Katrina would hav at least one of her family members through the tome at the hospital till the end? Also, why did Karina have a plain white bag on her head and not a cool christmas themed one? Lastly, why did you have to name Molar Molar, since said that his dad named him why could it not have been cavity, or buck, or some other kind of tooth.

Some things that really caught my attention was Madhu. He was by far my favorite character. I really loved that you put someone who stands out in the crowd and has his own cool personality. Lastly, I wanted t say I really enjoyed your book and hope there is a movie about it to someday!!!

Love your bestest coolest friend,

Eileen

My name is Josh and I attend A.E.Wright middle school. I want to comment you on the wonderful book you wrote, Paper bag Christmas. when I read it in class , I felt sucked sucked into it with my eyes glued to the paper. I couldn't stop reading because of the detail and the thought of what would happen next.
Lastly, I have A few questions I would like to ask. Why did you want to become a writer?, How long did it take you to finish the Paper bag Christmas?, and how many books have written.

from,

Dear Mr. Milne
I am Marty and I enjoyed your book. First, why did Katrina have to die? I think the book would have been better if Katrina didn't die. My second question is what happened to Aaron after the pageant. My last question is why did Mo marry Lynn.
I have many comments for the book, but I only have time to write a few. I liked the moment when Mo met Madhu for the first time because it was such a happy time. My favorite part was when Mo and Timmy were looking for clues to prove that Chris Kringle is Santa.

Dear Mr. Milne,

My name is Yasmine. I am a student at A. E. Wright Middle School and I'm in seventh grade. I love to read and I'm thinking about becoming an author when I grow up like yo. My hobbies are writing, dancing, and singing. Now you know a little bit more about me.
I think The Paper Bag Christmas was ver well-written and it was and extraordinary book. It really touched my heart. I thought the story was amazing and I would love to read it again sometime. The meaning of the book really got to me and it made me cry towards the end.
I learned many lessons in The Paper Bag Christmas such as it's better to give than to receive. Before I read the book, I realized how many thing I have to be grateful for. Now I am grateful each day for happiness, health, friends, and a family that loves and supports me in everything I do. I also learned that Christmas is about spending time with your family. Most people are caught up int the stress if their family made their flight fine, hosting parties, putting up decorations and much more. But what people usually forget is that Christmas is about loving your friends and family and spending time with them. Another lesson I learned from this book is that you should really get to know someone before you judge them. You might even become good friends with them like how Molar and Katrina did.
I had different thoughts on each of the characters. In my opinion, Molar Alan is a good-hearted guy that gives everyone second chances. He is very kind and loving towards everyone on how they look which is a value I really like in him. Dr. Ringle is one of the kindest guys you will ever meet. He cares for everyone and is truly a good person. He tries to point everyone in the right direction which is a value I really like in him. Katrina is a very honest and kind girl if you get to know her better. She came off as rude in the beginning but Molar really got to know her better and she is really giving, loving, and generous towards everyone. She has gone through so much and she has been strong through all of it.
I have some questions about the book. How did you get the idea of writing about The Paper Bag Christmas? Did you actually experience what happened in the story? Will there be a sequel? Bu answering these questions I think I will know more about it.
The last thing I wanted to mention is thank you for teaching me such valuable lessons. It really changed me for better. I'm so grateful for everything thing I have and I owe it all to you.

Sincerely,

Yasmine

Dear Kevin Alan Milne,

Hello,I am Neekon koohpareh.I am one of Mr.MCcreary seventh grade students from A.E.Wright middle school. I wold like to discus some of the topics of "The Paper Bag Christmas"book with you . I also, would like like to ask questions and tell you what I think of the book.

First of all,let me say that the"Paper Bag Christmas" is a truly fine book, and I wanted to thank you for that. I would like to know if you are planning to make a sequel of the "Paper Bag Christmas"? Well, if you are planning to do so , then I think you try to put a new characters point of view. For example: Dr. Ringle or Timothy's point of view of the coming sequel. I would like to know if Nurse Wimble would be in the sequel? Will Katrina's memory be mentioned in the sequel?

I wold like to share with you some of the topics of this story. The book is fine, but it is a little bit corny. Molar and Katrina's will repeat again with Molar's kids and some patient like Katrina, which is corny to me. But at the same time, the book is not like any other because it captures your imagination and your attention. For example, Katrina's death made her happy unlike most people. She wanted to be with her Grandpa and her mom. I also, wanted to let you that the perfect time to read this book is around Christmas because of the setting.

I have some questions to ask you! I wondered what happened to Timothy? Did he die or did he survive? If he survived, will you put him on the sequel? I would to know more about him. Thank you!

Sincerely
Neekon Koohpareh,
